Delightful B&B in the Ardennes

Pros: We had the 'marine' room with en suite bathroom. We had a good space, comfortable beds, kettle and fridge. The location of the B&B was rural and quiet so we slept very well. Often we stay in very modern, impersonal hotels so it was a pleasure to be in a real B&B where we were treated as actual guests, rather than names on a list. We enjoyed a generous and delicious breakfast every morning and the hosts were welcoming. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay and we enjoyed it very much.

Cons: Walking into Verviers took about 30 mins and was not a pleasant experience because you have to cross a highway and at night it felt a bit shady and unsafe in places. Regarding the property: I recommend more accessible plug sockets for loading PCs, telephones, toothbrushes, boiling the kettle etc. Secondly, the shower was a 'sit down' in a bathtub and putting a curtain around it would mean less wetting of the floor.

Propere, mooie b & b

Pros: Mooie, propere kamer met alles aanwezig. Lekker, uitgebreid ontbijt . Vriendelijke uitbaters. Prachtige tuin om ´s avonds uit te rusten na een Deugddoende wandeling in de buurt.

Great hospitality in a very peaceful environment.

Pros: The hosts were extremely polite and came up wth suggestions to make our trip memorable. We loved the location, their beautiful garden, and their lovely animals, and we also loved the breakfast! Although we had booked for 2, our daughter came along for one night, and the hosts were fine with it and did not even charge us for the extra bed and the extra breakfast. Really, among the most hospitable people we have ever met!

Cons: We liked everything.

Pros: Vooral de omgeving en de vriendelijke uitbaters Zij hebben zelf voor ons de hapjes en desserts gemaakt omdat alles al volgeboekt was om oudejaarsavond in een restaurant te gaan eten. Dikke pluim hiervoor.

Cons: Kamer was een beetje te klein en frigo in een ander gebouw
