Great stay with top hospitality

Pros: Chateau Charles is well worth the price, very quiet, serene environment, well maintained chateau and above all, super hospitable owner. Max has welcomed us as if we were old friends, helped us finding restaurants and activities in the area and was at our disposal the whole stay. Breakfast is great with quality ingredients. It's a place worth going to again!

A magical place

Pros: I can only agree with the others who commented about this place: it is magical. It is a privilege to have the chance to stay here and we particularly want to thank Max, the owner, for making us feel welcome, providing advice and actively helping us with the activities in the area. Waking up and looking at the frosted grass across the English garden and the open valley, relaxing in the tub, sipping wine and chatting with the owner, admiring the ceiling while having breakfast, these were all moments to remember!

Successful peaceful weekend away with my best friend because of Château Charles.

Pros: The property itself was gorgeous, but the view, owners and location really made our stay a peaceful one. The beds were like clouds, the room was incredibly clean and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind.

Great weekend getaway in a cozy Belgian chateau

Pros: Very friendly and helpful host, beautiful rooms and delicious breakfast

Perfect

Pros: The Château is beautifully restored, has large and very comfortable rooms, great views of the surrounding area, a bar (with mechanical pinball machine!) and lots of comfortable places to sit and relax. The owner made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. We stayed here when we participated in the Liège-Bastogne-Liège cyclo, which started nearby. On the day of the event the owner arranged an early morning breakfast and when we came back exchausted he even provided a very tasty pasta salad dinner!

Hidden gem

Pros: Amazing place, super elegant and relaxed. Great rooms, spacious and top notch quality amenities. Beds were so comfie, I slept like a log. The view from the room was amazing, the place is located very close by car to Leuven, Spa, Maastricht, Brussels. 👌

Cons: We liked everything, the owner is extremely kind and pleasant. Generous breakfast (the best this time in Benelux), things come from the heart at this place. We were lucky to find it free.

Pros: Max is the warmest and kindest host. We enjoyed our stay greatly. The terrace is a wonderful place to see the sunset.

A hidden gem with amazing owners

Pros: Basically everything, a super kind and warm welcome by the amazing host Max was swiftly followed by a tour of the impressive rooms and all the available spaces for guests to use and relax in. The view, the chateau and the surrounding area are not just spectacular but also extremely well maintained. 10/10 will visit again!
