Pros: We really appreciated the tastefully decorated room (La chambre de la rose), the comfortable bed, the spacious terrace with a garden view, the high quality of the breakfast products and the host’s kindness and tips for places worth visiting.

Perfect first night of our family vacation.

Pros: The pool was warm and awesome. The kids had fun playing in the yard. The breakfast was awesome with some local products. We had the room right under the roof with our 3 kids. The building with its old furniture was unique and something special to start our vacation.

Cons: It took some time to make contact at arrival to be let in. And the narrow stairs were hard to get up all the way to the top with our luggage.

We enjoyed our nights stay.

Pros: When you drive into the property it’s fair to say that you might be a little worried. However, when you step through the door you are met with a warm welcome from the owner and although she couldn’t speak English we had no problem understanding how all the facilities operated. This is not a modern hotel but the opposite. Some people might find it twee, but we found it very comfortable and with a very good breakfast which included home made preserves. We only stayed one night, on our way to Rotterdam, but wouldn’t have minded staying longer.

Cons: The rain fitting on the shower requires attention.

Pros: Lovely property and nice staff. Plenty of parking, and pretty gardens inc small pool.

Cons: Had booked a non meat meal for evening meal, unfortunately this had been forgotten about so was served meat. However this was quickly resolved. Husband throughly enjoyed the meal.

Pros: Most of the breakfast food was home-made. Organic food with a focus on sustainability and natural produce. Peaceful, leafy surroundings. Communicative host.

Pros: It was an interesting gothic building. The lady who ran the B&B made the jams, etc. that came with breakfast. There was plenty on offer for breakfast. I didn't get chance to use it, but there is a small swimming pool and various garden games.

Cons: The room was quite small.

Pros: The house is a beautiful Manor House, lovingly restored by the wonderful Chantel and her lovely husband. Our room was comfortable, the bed super comfy and the bathroom had an amazing shower. Our room also had a lovely balcony where we were able to sit and relax. We opted for a “Suprise” evening meal and oh my, what an amazing suprise it was. We feasted on a delicious 4 course meal, all cooked with such love and attention to detail, it truly was the very best meal we have eaten! Chantel is charming, friendly hostess. Breakfast was also fabulous. Warm boiled eggs, fresh croissants, homemade preserves, fresh orange juice, fresh coffee, cheeses, cold meats , cereals, yoghurts, fruit, etc etc. we will definitely return.

Cons: It was all really good.
