A nice picturesque place to stay with a good restaurant

Pros: We liked it all. Our room was not that big, but we had all we needed. The host Joao was very nice and helpful. He made a table for us at restaurant, which was almost full sunday evening. He suggested a diner of local products with the choice of a local beer. Great choise. The King head inn has long history back and an atmosphere as an old english inn. The area is nice for walkings, countryside yes, but not far to drive from the highway, if you are on your way north / south. We will come back some day 😃

Tranquil and great food

Pros: The room was very quiet and the breakfast was great. The quality of the dinner we had at their restaurant was excellent. Definitely one of the best meals we have had during our 5 week trip through various European countries.

Pros: Het ontbijt was heerlijk. Er was vanalles. Bediening heel aardig en het diner was verrukkelijk.

Quiet, comfortable and relaxing

Pros: Superb peaceful location with a country feel but still within easy reach of places we wanted to visit. Very friendly hosts, spacious and comfortable room in an interesting and sympathetically modernised building, excellent food (and choice of beers!), easy on site parking, everything you need for a relaxing break.

Cons: Nothing, we plan to stay again in the future

Pros: Vriendelijke eigenaren, goed ontbijt en voortreffelijk restaurant. Goede locatie.

Fijne plek!

Pros: Na een lange wandeling hebben we hier heerlijk overnacht. Heel fijn was het dat we 's avonds in het restaurant konden eten. We hoefden de deur niet meer uit en we hebben heerlijk gegeten. Het ontbijt was ook prima en tegen betaling konden we zelf twee broodjes voor de lunch smeren.
