Pros: We booked this hotel because it explicitly allows dogs--we were travelling with a small dog. There was a slight confusion at check-in but this was quickly resolved by the receptionist and the owner himself. Both were very friendly and did they best to sort it out, and then they upgraded us to a larger room for free. The room was comfortable, and thanks to the upgrade, very spacious. The hotel is in an old chateau and as such it combines old-fashioned furniture, paintings and decorations with modern conveniences. We went for dinner to the brasserie on the premises and were very happy with the choice: excellent food, and good selection of local and mainstream beers.

Cons: The hallway leading to the rooms could be spruced up a bit. Unlike the rest of the chateau, it comes across as rather faceless and boring.

Great hotel!

Pros: What a beautiful place, nicely renovated into a luxury hotel, but without the extortionate price tag! Lots of history and quirky rooms to enjoy. Good games room and lounge area's. Lovely garden, quiet location. Welcome drink on arrival, was a nice touch! Food in restaurant was excellent.

Cons: Walls between the next door room in the bathroom was really thin and you could hear the neighbours as if they were in the same room! As it was only the bathroom it wasn't an issue.

Amazing place

Pros: It's absolutely beautiful place! Room spacious & clean with tea/coffee facilities. Lovely view from windows & very quiet around. The place is just stunning and the breakfast was just lovely with lots of choice of food & drinks. Staff very friendly. It felt all very laid back & relaxing. We had our dog with us & they are very dog friendly place too.

Cons: Loved everything. Wished we could have stayed longer ...

Pros: The château is truly enchanting, with a unique historical atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. The rooms are spacious and elegant, and the location is perfect for a peaceful getaway. I especially enjoyed the charm of the castle architecture and the relaxing garden views.

Cons: There was nothing major to complain about, only that I wished I could have stayed longer to enjoy the place more.

Pros: Breakfast is good. The location better ride with An auto it's easy to find. The garden and terrace is nice. We eat in the evening at the terrace where its so romantic at the garden . The people are friendly and accomodatig.

Great stay, superb building, would stay again.

Pros: The surroundings and property were stunning to look at, very grand but without the grand price tag

Cons: Only downside was lacking staff, too a while to find someone to check us in to the room and had to hunt for a person, however, the staff we did see were very friendly and most helpful
