Excellent stay

Pros: It’s a really stylish, peaceful property. The hostess is wonderful and nothing is a problem for her. We stayed for a week, our beds were made twice and the room cleaned. Isabel was really thoughtful and replenished our room with fresh towels, bottled water and Belgian chocolates. We were offered a hot drink upon checking in with biscuits which were gratefully accepted. We also got to know all the other guests during our stay there and it was lovely to socialise in person rather then with the use of a phone!

Cons: There was nothing we disliked about the property. Some useful things to know is: Isabel has a lovely dog called Max. He is extremely well behaved and very well trained. There is also a gate at the top of the stairs which helps if you have young children. There are lots of plugs in the Superior room which is the room we booked.

Cozy Stay in a Perfect Location

Pros: I really enjoyed my stay—choosing this place made my whole trip incredible. The room was very clean, beautifully decorated, and cozy. While the bathroom and toilet are shared, it wasn’t a big issue. Breakfasts were a lovely touch, offering a chance to chat with other guests or the welcoming host. Plus, there’s an adorable dog to greet you! The location is very convenient—just 10 minutes to the center of Genk by public transport or a 40-minute walk. Nearby, you’ll find a large swimming pool, a sports complex, and a park. A grocery store is also within a 15-minute walk. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we hope to return in the summer!

When travelling to Genk, this is the place to stay.

Pros: This property is more like a small boutique hotel with an exceptional interior and beautifully landscaped gardens. Breakfast consisted of a generous offering of fresh produce and oven baked breads. Isabelle, the host, and her son were a pleasure to get to know.

Pros: A stunning villa in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. The host was also really great and happy to help with anything. We loved our stay here and felt treated.

Cons: The only odd thing was that we had a luxury room and beautiful bathroom but the toilet was separate and shared with other guests.

Wonderful

Pros: Magnificent place. Pleasant, charmingly decorated house. Spacious and quiet. Isabelle, our host, made us feel very welcome. If you have to visit the city, this place is just amazing and comfortable. The breakfast is magnificent. I highly recommend this address.
