Had a very nice journey, would definitively come again!
Pros: Nice house, very cheap price, very cozy and comfortable
Cons: Emails could be also delivered in English. That would be helpful

Small, characterful, friendly and surprising
Pros: We knew very little about Liège before our visit, and it wildly exceeded our expectations. It has a characterful old centre and a long and interesting history, lots of nice places to eat and drink and friendly inhabitants. The location of the house was perfect. Central but quiet, within walking distance of everything we needed - shops, museums and a stop for the river boat. Plus it's just over the road from the Montagne de Bueren, which meant my partner could to an impromptu climb on the way home as well as the one we'd both done in the morning. The house has a tiny footprint, but it has been cleverly designed to provide everything you might need, in our case for a 4-day stay. On arrival we found it very clean, the kitchen had more than enough equipment to cook a simple meal, the shower was great and the sofa and bed were comfortable. There was plenty of clothes storage for our needs. We didn't meet the host, but when I texted them a question they got back to me quickly.
Cons: The house is on three floors connected by two winding wooden staircases with narrow, uneven steps and no handrail. The toilet is on the ground floor, the bed on the top floor, with rather nice little magnetic lights operated by sensors to light your way. Caution is definitely required going up and down, but we managed fine. The only other issue for us was that the instructions clearly stipulated that we had to take our rubbish out on departure, but didn't tell us where to put it. When asked, the host told us there was a container outside, but this turned out not to be accessible to us. In the end we had to leave our non-recyclable rubbish in the house and told the host, who was very nice about it. Neither of these things negatively affected our stay.

Echte aanraders!
