Warm friendly place

Pros: It’s a very nice small room above the Ice cream shop, warm atmosphere place hosted by very nice people, Mario and his wife Katrinka, the owners of the shop where the whole family is busy preparing and serving very tasty ice cream. Great location, you can see the basilica from your window and hear the chimes. It is city centre and close to everything. Do not limit oneself to ice cream, try also Mario’s beer. ;)

Cons: All was good, just for other people - there is no elevator, you have to go up the stairs. And it can be noisy in the evenings, but good soundproof windows will minimise the noise.

Pros: Superb location. Everything was perfect. Thank you.

Stunning location, warmhearted host, beautiful rooms, ultimate value for money

Pros: The host was the most kind, warmhearted, trustful, passionate and professional you could wish for. Stunning location, beautiful rooms, pleasant people. Just an ideal place for a couple like us. If there ever was a place who deserved absolute high scores it would be Logies Mario.

Cons: There is nothing about this place I did not like

Brilliant host and facilities but check the noise.

Pros: Everything about the venue itself was excellent. The room, the facilities and the breakfast. Mario the host really makes you feel welcome and will treat you to some of his excellent gelato that he makes on the premises. The location is right in the middle of Tongeren opposite the large church.

Cons: When your host issues with ear plugs and says it might be a bit noisy you begin to worry. Unfortunately we arrived in the middle of a local event. One of the local bars blasted out heavy bass until 4 am. Impossible to sleep. We were told it was a one off. My advice is to check with the owners first as clearly other people had been issued ear plugs before.

We would be happy to do it again :)

Pros: Mario and his wife are really nice. They welcomed us warmly and showed us everything. Mario's wife gave us some tips on sightseeing. We even got an ice cream for free. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The view of the Basikila is breathtaking. Check-in and check-out were easy.

Cons: Unfortunately, it was very noisy on Saturday night because there is a pub next door. However, there was a special weekend, so it was louder than normal. So that was also bad luck.

Stop off in Tongeren on the way to Kohln

Pros: Great hosts helping with parking & sightseeing & superb location. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Cons: Just quite a challenge for the satnav! All sorted with wonderful help from Mario.

Pros: Todo. Una experiencia inolvidable. El sitio excelente y el personal encantadores.

Ik heb een erg prettig verblijf hier gehad.

Pros: Het ontbijt was meer dan geweldig en erg uitgebreid zodanig dat ik verzocht heb iets minder te presenteren. ik voelde mij bij de eerste keer best wat genant over de luxueze uitvoering.

Cons: Het bed is niet echt geweldig....althans dat is persoonlijk. Ik houd meer van een stevig matras. Verder wil ik aanbevelen het gebruik van een klein koelkastje en in de omschrijving van Booking.com vermelden dat er een trapopgang is zonder lift!!!

Pros: Everything. Mario is so accommodating. Even took our bags and members of our party to the train station. Highly recommend.
