Amazing stay!

Pros: The guesthouse is amazing. Super nice building, nice location, room was more then big enough, good bed, coffee and tea in the room. The breakfast was perfect with everything you could ever need. Last but not least the host was super friendly and welcoming. We had an amazing stay.

Cons: If I have to say something, our toilet made a lot of noise, but I guess this was more negative for the other guests 😉 we loved everything!

Pros: Super friendly new owners at a great atmospheric place with big comfortable rooms. I loved how the owners went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and had any requests. The garden is a lovely quiet place to sit in the evening.

A very welcoming place to overnight

Pros: We were welcomed by Stéphanie, our charming host. There was private parking next to the building. The room was very big, a little older but had a comfortable large bed and we slept very well. The other rooms that we saw on the way to breakfast have been renovated. There were little luxury touches like shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, plush towels and a coffee machine in the room that showed attention to details. The bathroom was next door with a good shower , lots of hot water, shelving and hooks for the towels. Breakfast was lovely with fresh breads, cereals and we were offered bacon and eggs, and good coffee.

Cons: The property is older and we got an attic room which had a lot of stairs that were challenging for my husband who had recent back surgery. Maybe this could be mentioned in the hotel description.

Great stay, lovely hosts.

Pros: We had a great stay at 't Goed Leven, our hosts could not have been friendlier and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We slept really well in the huge bed, the heating kept us warm and there was loads of hot water. Breakfast was delicious with a range of foods beautifully presented and the bread all freshly baked and still warm! The neighbourhood was very peaceful. There were a couple of bars within walking distance but plenty of places to eat within a short drive; we especially liked The B52 cafe and Resto (like a canteen set up but the food was great!) We used the guest house as a base to explore Maastricht, Aachen, Durbuy and also more local areas such as Het Vinne (a pretty nature reserve recommended by Stefanie)

Cons: We had been expecting an ensuite room with a bath like the accommodation photos had illustrated, however we were given an attic room with no ensuite. The bathroom was just next door and only for our use and everything else was great so we didn't even ask about changing rooms.

Even with a late food order the owner’s accommodated us.

Pros: The host was very friendly and professional. There was a small problem in the room and she immediately gave us an other room. The room was very clean. Good breakfast in the morning.

Cons: We prefer a shower in the bathroom.
