Overall - really nice accommodation and would recommend it.

Pros: The property is located in a very peaceful area, and the rooms were very nicely decorated. Modern and beautiful. We loved the unique way that breakfast was served and check in was easy!

Cons: We stayed in room 5 - the room was not well covered, whenever a light went in the main area on the room will lit up. Maybe recommending putting black out curtains and not sheer curtains. The toilet also didn’t have a light switch but we managed by just closing the door and blocking the light.

Loved the place, we were only in for 1 night so only spend a few hours there.

Pros: Great rooms, really interesting designs. Breakfast was great with enough food for lunch too

Pros: The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was copious, including homemade and local products, which were lovely. Probably the best part of the property for me was the terrace: spacious and calm, such a great place to relax. Would absolutely recommend this place!

Cons: Just very small gripes like no bin in the bathroom and a small uncovered bit of electrics on the floor. Also the pillows could be more supportive. But these small things really didn't detract from a really enjoyable stay.

Pros: The name is well chosen, as la bel échapée is really a cozy place which will host you with all comforts: room very well-finished and which will make you feel like home, breakfast served in a dedicated picnic basket for each room with fresh and local high-quality products. Perfect place to relax and to visit Val Dieu abbey and the nearby.

Pros: Very good location near Val de dieu abbey. Nice surroundings. Plenty of parking. Clean and modern decoration.

Cons: Room had an open bathroom... although modern, it has no privacy. The room located on the ground floor right at the entrance of the property, and in front of the rest area was all glass walled... again, it is very modern, but if you are in the room, you need to close all curtains to get privacy, and you will end in an enclosed room... The idea of breakfast in a basket was nice, but we don't get why for 2 people, there were one butter, one juice, one croissant....

Cons: The kids’ play area is small, there’s no swimming pool, and there was no one available to assist us. Additionally, lunch and dinner no available and as an expat, I couldn’t find restaurants that suited my taste.
